Our team introduced ourselves via Blackboard. We also met face-to-face as recommended by Dr. Shelleman. We will continue to communicate with each other via Blackboard and meet face-to-face, as needed, on Tuesday’s. We’re looking into the possibility of connecting with each other via teleconference. This will ensure our team stays connected each week in order to meet course requirements.
We discussed our responses to the Individual Homework Week 1 - Questions for Reflection and Dialogue. We reviewed our individual scores for the “What Team Roles Do You Prefer?” exercise. Two (2) people were strong in the Encourager, one (1) person was strong in the Gatekeeper; one (1) person was strong in the Harmonizer; two (2) people were strong in the Initiator and one (1) person was strong in the Summarizer. We feel we have a well-rounded team! We also took some time to discuss our individual ratings for the Team Exercise 7.4 - Winter Survival Exercise. After explaining to each other our rational for our individual ranking using the concepts presented in the “Guidelines for Reaching Consensus", we collaborated as a team to come up with a team ranking as well as a survival plan.
We also came up with our team name (Team Amguli).
